Secret tension between us -EN

Location:​ ​Bangkok,​ ​Thailand 

I​ ​wake​ ​up​ ​a​ ​little​ ​earlier​ ​than​ ​usual.​ ​I​ ​look​ ​for​ ​something​ ​to​ ​wear​ ​because​ ​today​ ​I​ ​start​ ​working​ ​in​ ​a​ ​new​ ​office.​I​ ​put​ ​on​ ​a​ ​blue​ ​shirt​ ​with​ ​a​ ​black​ ​tie​ ​and​ ​black​ ​pants.​ ​I​ ​grab​ ​my​ ​backpack​ ​and​ ​leave​ ​the​ ​house.​ ​It​ ​takes​ ​me​ ​about​ ​15​ ​minutes​ ​to​ ​walk​ ​to​ ​the​ ​office. 

At​ ​the​ ​crosswalk,​ ​I​ ​see​ ​the​ ​green​ ​light​ ​and​ ​quickly​ ​rush​ ​across​ ​the​ ​street​ ​when​ ​a​ ​black​ ​car​ ​nearly​ ​hits​ ​me.​ ​A​ ​man​ ​gets​ ​out​ ​and​ ​apologizes,​ ​offering​ ​me​ ​money.​ ​I​ ​don​'​t​ ​want​ ​any​ ​stranger​'​s​ ​money,​ ​so​ ​I​ ​tell​ ​him​ ​I​ ​don​'​t​ ​want​ ​it​ ​and​ ​give​ ​it​ ​back. 

I​ ​quickly​ ​go​ ​to​ ​the​ ​office​ ​and​ ​stand​ ​in​ ​line​ ​to​ ​greet​ ​the​ ​boss.​ ​Then​ ​the​ ​black​ ​car​ ​arrives,​ ​and​ ​the​ ​same​ ​man​ ​as​ ​before​ ​gets​ ​out.​ ​When​ ​he​ ​opens​ ​the​ ​back​ ​door,​ ​a​ ​tall,​ ​young,​ ​slim​ ​man​ ​steps​ ​out.​ ​I​ ​realize​ ​that​ ​my​ ​boss​ ​almost​ ​hit​ ​me​ ​earlier.​ ​But​ ​I​ ​can​'​t​ ​help​ ​but​ ​think​ ​to​ ​myself​ ​that​ ​the​ ​boss​ ​is​ ​incredibly​ ​handsome. 

He​ ​looks​ ​at​ ​me​ ​and​ ​says,​ ​"​You,​ ​come​ ​to​ ​my​ ​office​ ​immediately.​"​ ​Oh​ ​no,​ ​I​ ​think​ ​to​ ​myself;​ ​he​'​ll​ ​blame​ ​me​ ​for​ ​what​ ​happened​ ​earlier.​ ​I​ ​enter​ ​the​ ​boss​'​s​ ​office​ ​and​ ​see​ ​him​ ​sitting​ ​in​ ​a​ ​chair.​ ​"​Sit,​"​ ​he​ ​tells​ ​me.​ ​I​ ​sit​ ​down​ ​and​ ​look​ ​him​ ​in​ ​the​ ​face​ ​for​ ​the​ ​first​ ​time. 

His​ ​perfectly​ ​brown-black​ ​eyes,​ ​nose,​ ​and​ ​lips...​  

I​ ​don​'​t​ ​know​ ​how​ ​many​ ​seconds​ ​passed,​ ​but​ ​something​ ​inside​ ​me​ ​shifted.​  

He​ ​started​ ​speaking.​ ​"​My​ ​name​ ​is​ ​Chak​ ​Phanprasit,​ ​and​ ​I​ ​am​ ​the​ ​CEO​ ​of​ ​Love​ ​Food.​ ​I​ ​expect​ ​what​ ​happened​ ​earlier​ ​to​ ​stay​ ​between​ ​us.​ ​Do​ ​you​ ​understand?​"​  

"​I​ ​understand,​"​ ​Niran​ ​Sukrit​ ​replied.​  

"​Now​ ​go​ ​do​ ​your​ ​job,​"​ ​Chak​ ​said​ ​firmly.​  

"​Understood,​"​ ​Niran​ ​answered.​  

Niran​ ​left​ ​the​ ​office​ ​and​ ​walked​ ​to​ ​Ms.​ ​Chareon,​ ​who​ ​introduced​ ​him​ ​to​ ​his​ ​colleagues​ ​and​ ​showed​ ​him​ ​his​ ​workplace.​ ​He​ ​sat​ ​down​ ​at​ ​his​ ​desk​ ​and​ ​started​ ​designing​ ​an​ ​advertisement​ ​for​ ​Valentine​'​s​ ​Day,​ ​which​ ​was​ ​in​ ​three​ ​weeks.​  

When​ ​it​ ​was​ ​time​ ​for​ ​lunch,​ ​he​ ​stood​ ​up,​ ​grabbed​ ​his​ ​phone,​ ​and​ ​headed​ ​toward​ ​the​ ​elevator.​ ​While​ ​waiting,​ ​he​ ​sent​ ​a​ ​message​ ​to​ ​his​ ​mother,​ ​letting​ ​her​ ​know​ ​he​ ​was​ ​okay​ ​and​ ​satisfied​ ​with​ ​his​ ​new​ ​job.​  

As​ ​the​ ​elevator​ ​doors​ ​opened,​ ​he​ ​stepped​ ​inside​ ​and​ ​pressed​ ​the​ ​button​ ​for​ ​the​ ​first​ ​floor.​ ​Just​ ​before​ ​the​ ​doors​ ​closed,​ ​Chak​ ​suddenly​ ​entered.​
